Email - Using the Send Me A Copy Checkbox

You found the (HELP ?) Circle narrative for “Using the Send Me a Copy checkbox” by clicking the (COMPREHENSIVE HELP ?) Circle on the “SEND EMAIL TO PRAYER PARTNERS” Screen in PrayerLink or any of the other screens related to “Emailing” that have this (COMPREHENSIVE HELP ?) Circle.

Before proceeding, please be sure you have previously clicked the (HELP ?) Circle that leads to the narrative on ”Overview and Basics: Using the Email Function”. Being familiar with the general information about the “SEND EMAIL TO PRAYER PARTNERS” Screen may be helpful to you.

The following information relates specifically to the “Send Me A Copy” (of this message) option.

Using the “Send Me A Copy” Checkbox:

When you send an email message, your name may be in the distribution list. If it is, you will receive a copy of the message. If it is not, you will not get the message yourself because you are not in the distribution list.

But even if it is not, you can still receive a copy!

The “SEND ME A COPY” Checkbox option is used for this purpose. This Checkbox is located just to the right of the “YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS” Entry Box.

After entering a valid email address in that box, click the “SEND ME A COPY” Checkbox. When the system sends the messages, it will also send the message to the address you entered in the “YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS” Entry Box even though that email address was not in the “WHO GETS THIS EMAIL?” Window.
